Addition Board and 100 Board

This new product is for teaching basic addition of numbers up to 10. It uses the patented Adaptaboard grid system on a new tough printed Mathsphun board. The grid provides the columns and rows into which the children place or take out and replace the numbers in the correct positions. The sequence of the red numbers can be changed to provide additional challenges and tests. The signs + and = are also provided.

The 100 Board is another essential Morphun maths classroom teaching aid and NEW for 2010 comes with the Mathsphun printed grid. This combination will quickly get the children’s attention and enable improved results. The Board can be used for many activities such as recognition of numbers and sequences.

Both of these class aids are supplied either as single numbers boards with one Mathsphun Printed grid and 16 activities on work cards or as a triple set version. Ages 5 +.

The Maths set pieces are numbered 1-10 and come with: +, -, ÷ x / and = signs. The chunky side joining pieces will help concentration and involvement as the teachers present their own range of simple activities. Other signs such as local currencies or % and @ can be added for dealers on request.

Sometimes it needs an idea as good as this award winning product combined with the Adaptaboard grid to help teach multiplication. The fun is to assemble first the numbers all in the same colour, and then in the more difficult way with all different colours. The satisfaction of making and seeing a correct solution will help concentration.

Classes can start by using only limited numbers eg up to 6, and then extend the board as skills grow. Ages 5 +.
