Mathsphun has three versions that combine boards with printed bricks size grids with our tough and easy to use numbered bricks, We also have one further version for general maths teaching across a wider range of class activities including subtraction and division.
New for 2012 – The number of teacher developed classroom activities provided free in every board set has been doubled so that all sets have at least 30 language free activities. The teachers will normally then develop many further activities tailored to their own student’s needs.
The core objective is provide a system of teaching the early stages of number use in a fun way that will get increased classroom or home learning attention.
The Mathsphun addition, counting to 100 and multiplication class aids are supplied either as single numbers boards with one Mathsphun Printed grid and the new 30 activities on work cards or as a triple set version. Ages 5 +.
Addition Board

This award winning product is for teaching addition of numbers up to 10. It uses the patented Adaptaboard grid system on a tough printed Mathsphun board.

The grid provides the columns and rows into which the children place the numbers in the correct positions. The sequence of the red numbers 1-10 shown above can be reduced (only 1-5) see below, or changed (for example 1 3 5 7 9 2 4 6 8 10 or reversed (10-1) to provide additional levels of difficulty, reinforcement and class tests.

The 100 Board is another essential Morphun maths classroom teaching aid and NEW for 2012 the number of teacher work cards has been doubled. These activities have been kindly prepared by a UK teacher with many years of relevant experience.

The Maths set pieces are numbered 1-10 and come with: +, -, ÷ x / and = signs. The chunky side joining pieces will help concentration and involvement as the teachers present their own range of simple activities. Other signs such as local currencies or % and @ can be added for dealers on request.
