January 2011Re-launch of 'Advanced Construction Bricks' and new graded instruction sheets.Being launched at the Nuremburg Toy Fair in February, Morphun announces a whole new approach to our popular 'Advanced' construction bricks. Morphun have always listened to customers and teachers ideas when they develop and improve their products. "We have received two strong messages over the last year or more", says Colin Simonds, Managing Director; "that we have now used to develop these updated and improved Advanced sets that will be available September 2011". Teachers liked the A3 size Junior instructions in graded levels 1-6 that we launched a few years ago. There are now 20 different double sided sheets of Junior instructions, with over 200 different models and shapes available. This successful concept has been adopted for our Advanced sets and there are already 8 new Advanced Instruction sheets, graded over 6 levels of difficulty, that are available for the launch and more are planned. We also had suggestions that teachers wanted to be able to introduce our Advanced sets to younger groups and that they needed some easier models and shapes, so that children could move seamlessly from Junior to Advanced bricks at an earlier age. Responding to this we have altered the mix of pieces used, mainly by adding the Junior triangle piece, and reducing the number of smaller pieces - great for younger fingers! To challenge the older ones, we have also added some interesting new pieces like these. We thank our customers for suggestions and comments! |
